Introducing DT Member : Monique Nicole Fox

I am Monique Nicole Fox (by name), sweet (by nature), ethnic (by design), and blessed (by God).  I am a 41 y/o single mother of a 7 y/o handsome son and an 8 y/o cat name Angel.

I have been scrapbooking for almost 8 years.  My son will be 8 next month.  And yes he was my inspiration to start scrapbooking.  My son, cat, family and friends are my inspiration to continue scrapbooking.  They all are a blessing.

I love entering challenges and contests.  I love being on design teams; inspiring others and meeting new people.  I am also a sketch-a-holic.  When I see a good sketch, I get real excited.

I was born in Washington, DC (USA) and grew up in Atlanta, GA.  When I graduated from Frederick Douglass High school I came back to DC to go to college.  I lived in DC for awhile then moved to Maryland just outside of DC.

I have been blessed with a wonderful government job.  I won't be going anywhere until it is time for me to retire.

Introducing DT Member: Sandra Wilkinson

"Hi, I’m Sandra and I live in Brisbane with my husband and two kids who have just started school.  I love to craft in my spare time, doing mainly papercrafts of late - cards and layouts, and also OTPs when time permits.  I love trying out new products and techniques, and enjoy making my own embellishments from paper, felt, beads and chipboard.  I also like to make beaded jewellery, sew dresses for my daughter, cook and read.  If there’s any time left over, I learn Italian and German and love to travel when life lets us."

Here are a couple of Sandra's gorgeous layouts using our new Concrete Jungle and Australia ranges...

Scooter Boy :- "I inked the chipboard with black distress in, distressed the edges, and used some of the rubons – love the look of this one!"

Family Ties:- "I misted the background with blue as I didn’t think the green tinge suited what I wanted. I made a banner out of the papers and coloured the chippy with brown versa mark ink. I used the Family rubons."

Introducing DT Member: Belinda Achatz

"I am Belinda (Bel) , aka busybel around the forums, from Adelaide in South Australia.
I have been scrapping since 2005 and I also love card making, art journalling , ATC’s and mixed media. My style is eclectic and can be influenced by new product, photos, time available, the story I want to tell. I enjoy scrapping all sizes of layouts. I love distressing things, inking, chipboard, & have a new-found love of Tim Holtz techniques/products, a long-time love of vintage, having something 'real' to say rather than just 'sentiment' iykwim and mixing new (products) with old.
You may find me happiest when I am tinkering in antique/bric-a-brac shops or raiding the local Salvo’s.

I have been married to Dean for 12 yrs, & have a daughter, Eleanor (Ellie) 7 & son Alexander, 6 and a 6 month old daughter, Madeleine. Oh & nearly forgot - 2 wild & woolly standard poodles (the large ones).

I am really excited to join the community at Paper Inklings & feel priviledged to be part of such a talented design team, working with these unique, fabulous Australian products!

Introducing DT Member - Leah Cameron

"Hi all, my name is Leah Cameron and I am so excited to be part of the Paper Inklings new Design Team!  I live in a {very} small town in central Victoria, with my farming husband and two girls who luckily are happy to pose for photos to feed my scrapbooking obsession.  I also work two or three days a week.  I started scrapbooking just under five years ago after my youngest daughter was born when a friend bought a beginner’s class for my birthday and I have been hooked ever since.  My style is ever evolving, I think, at the moment I am enjoying white cardstock, a few layers, a bit of a cluster, with basically a clean look – but that could change at any moment.  I am so looking forward to sharing my layouts with you all."

Leah has been very busy working with the new ranges. Here are a few of her layouts.

"My aim for this layout was to incorporate the Concrete Jungle into my usual style – which often includes white cardstock background.  The use of a basic white background really sets off the colours in the Extreme Scooter paper used for the patterned paper border, making a great feature of the arrows.  Some rub on arrows from the Scooter A5 rub on pack were cut and placed in a couple of different places on the layout to draw attention to the title and link the arrows in.  The fantastic Scooter Boy chipboard title can be used for more than just boy layouts!  Here I have painted the title red, and then I just love the technique of painting black lines on there simply with the edge of a plastic ruler – so easy and so eye catching."

"This recent photo of my youngest daughter Alexa was crying out for a funky and grungy layout, and the colours and themes of the new “Concrete Jungle” range were perfect for just that!  The range is far more versatile than just scooter and skateboard layouts, as is shown on this layout.  Included on this layout are papers and rub ons from the Concrete Jungle range, and Hazard Symbol chipboard from the Awesome Boy range."
